Lisa Canoy is an architect and advocate of building science. With 16 years of professional experience, Lisa brings valuable knowledge across all phases of design and all varieties of scope. Her portfolio includes programming and planning studies, existing renovations, comprehensive modernizations, ground-up construction projects, and multi-phased construction projects and spans numerous delivery methods, regulatory agencies, and institutional clients. Her ability to organize, track, and triage an influx of information as well as technically analyze and creatively resolve project issues as both a PA and PM have contributed to the successful execution of a broad spectrum of building projects. Lisa Canoy is a graduate of the University of Florida School of Architecture and licensed in the State of California.

Sophia Salah manages building enclosure consulting projects that span investigation, rehabilitation, litigation, and new design/construction. She applies lessons learned from field investigations to develop high-performing, well-integrated enclosure systems for commercial, institutional, healthcare, and residential buildings. She collaborates closely with architects, contractors, and owners/developers to deliver coordinated enclosure solutions by applying best practices for building enclosure systems, including waterproofing systems for below-grade foundations, plazas and terraces, opaque wall systems, curtain wall/glazing systems, and roofing.

A. Judson (Jud) Taylor is a Senior Principal at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) and a registered architect in California, Arizona, and Washington. He has more than twenty-fives years of experience designing, investigating, and rehabilitating building enclosure systems for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Jud focuses on roofing, waterproofing (below-grade and elevated), exterior cladding, water-resistive barriers, and fenestration systems, including curtain walls, windows, and storefronts. He leads the specification, installation, and testing of these systems and diagnoses and remedies enclosure deficiencies in existing buildings while providing construction administration, quality assurance, and quality control services.

Emily Wartman designs, investigates, field tests, and rehabilitates building enclosure systems for both historic and contemporary buildings. She evaluates enclosure performance and develops practical, durable solutions that support long-term building performance. Emily works closely with architects, owners, contractors, and manufacturers throughout all project phases, both in the field and in the office. She supports enclosure design, investigation, and testing efforts, helping project teams identify issues, verify performance, and implement effective solutions.

Kyung Yoon is a Building Enclosure Consultant with the Diagnostics Group at Walter P. Moore, where he manages projects and provides technical expertise across a wide range of building enclosure applications, including new construction, retrofit, replacement, and investigative work. His experience includes the evaluation and optimization of enclosure systems to enhance constructability, durability, and performance. Kyung also brings expertise in building science, with a strong focus on improving heat, air, and moisture performance, as well as advancing sustainability throughout the design and construction phases.
